North America China Council Internship
North America China Council is a Washington State not-for-profit corporation formed to serve as a diverse platform providing the information and resources to help companies and individuals in North America and Greater China to have better understanding and connection in, without limitation, cultural, academic, business, and hi-tech fields.
Intern Responsibilities:
North America China Council is seeking qualified students to help with upcoming programs including a U.S.-China Innovation and Investment Conference. Tasks and responsibilities include some or all of the following:
– Assist with the creation of marketing materials, e.g. sponsorship package, brochure, newsletter
– Assist with the development of conference agenda
– Assist with the recruitment of conference speakers and sponsors
– Research U.S.-China clean tech trade and investment trends
– Assist with other NACC programs, e.g. workshop and summer camp
Position Requirements:
North America China Council requires individuals who are willing to learn and implement their creative ideas with a growing organization. The interns must be motivated self-starter, have strong communication skills, and be able to work proficiently in both independent and team environments. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in business, investment, new technology, and China. Chinese language ability is a plus but not required. The position is unpaid, but interns will gain valuable experience and insight into U.S.-China cooperation on clean energy, health care and mobile technology. Internship lasts from June to August, and the hours per week are flexible.
